How to Download Suno Songs: Audio, Video, Lyrics and Covers

By Editorial Team · Updated October 19, 2026

Save a public Suno song as original audio, MP3 or WAV. Follow the download steps and find available video, lyrics and cover art.

Start with the audio downloader

  1. Open your song in Suno and copy its page URL or Share link.
  2. Paste the link into the Suno downloader. A complete song ID also works.
  3. Choose MP3 for playback compatibility, WAV for PCM editing, or Original to keep the available source unchanged.
  4. Select Prepare download. When the result is ready, preview the audio and select Save.
  5. Open your browser’s downloads list to find the file, then play it in the intended application.

The file is named after the song title when that information is available. The browser chooses the final save location and may show a save dialog. File preparation and final saving are separate steps.

Which format should you choose?

MP3 exports at 192 kbps using a browser encoder. This creates a real MP3 rather than renaming the source. It adds a lossy encoding step if the source is already compressed.

WAV exports 44.1 kHz, 16-bit PCM audio for editors that require it. It is larger and does not restore quality lost in the original source. Original saves the available M4A or WebM without re-encoding. Read the MP3 vs WAV comparison for file-size examples.

Download video, artwork and lyrics

Open the song downloader to see the song’s available assets. A song may include audio, an MP4 video, a cover image and lyrics, but not every track has all four.

Share links and common problems

The single-song downloader accepts long /song/ URLs, short /s/ links and complete song IDs. A creator-profile URL or playlist URL is not a single-song link. A private, removed or unavailable song may not resolve.

If a short link fails, open it in Suno and confirm its destination, then copy the full song URL if one is available. The share-link troubleshooting guide explains the lookup process.

If the song loads but conversion fails, choose Original. Browser codec support and available memory vary. Conversion supports songs up to 10 minutes; keep the tab open while it runs. A service or network interruption can require trying again later.

Save and organize responsibly

Keep a source copy before editing. Use the MP3 tag editor for compatible MP3 files if you want to add a title, artist or cover. A downloaded file does not grant additional permissions: use songs you own or have permission to download and reuse.
