PCM WAV for your editing workflow

This Suno WAV downloader exports stereo PCM at 44.1 kHz and 16 bits per sample. Use it when your audio or video editor requires WAV input. Conversion decodes the available source in your browser and writes PCM samples into the WAV file.

After saving, import a copy into your target project. Check the duration, channel layout and playback before editing. If the project uses another sample rate, review the editor’s import or resampling settings rather than assuming the file matches them.

Estimate WAV storage before preparing

At these output settings, stereo PCM takes about 10.6 MB per minute, plus a small file header. Five minutes is roughly 53 MB. Decoding and export also need working memory beyond the final file size.

Conversion supports songs up to 10 minutes. For a large recording or a browser with little available memory, keep an Original audio backup and use a compatible editing workflow. The limits guide explains the distinction between duration, memory and service availability.

A WAV container is not a new master

WAV output stores decoded samples without an additional lossy encode. It cannot undo compression already present in the source or provide separate vocal and instrumental stems. This page does not promise access to an original lossless master.

If you need a smaller listening copy instead, choose MP3 conversion. For the differences between archiving, listening and editing, read MP3 vs WAV vs Original.

Questions about WAV export

Which WAV settings are used?

The browser exporter produces 44.1 kHz, 16-bit stereo PCM WAV.

Why is WAV much larger than the source?

PCM stores uncompressed audio samples. A larger converted file does not mean that the recording contains more detail.

Can I use this to download stems?

No. Converting a mixed song to WAV does not separate its vocals or instruments.
