Tips for Clean, Searchable Metadata
- Keep artist names consistent. Use one spelling for "Taylor Swift" everywhere so songs group under a single artist.
- Fill Album Artist, not just Artist. Compilations and collaborations sort correctly when Album Artist is set.
- Use the four-digit Year and a standard Genre so players can filter and sort your collection.
- Add cover art at a decent size (300×300 or larger, JPG or PNG) for crisp thumbnails.
- Strip section markers from lyrics with the "Strip lyric tags" option so only the words are saved, not
[Intro]/[Chorus]labels.
